Integrating With Digital Access Pass (DAP)

Integrating with Digital Access Pass is pretty straight forward. Watch the video above to ensure you see all the steps, but you'll find a summary below. Please note that before starting integration with DAP we strongly advise watching the initial training videos for setting up your membership pages and site structure.

Initial Steps

- Install DAP on your domain (if you need support with this please contact DAP)
- Upload and activate the DAP LiveLinks Plugin to link WordPress with DAP.
- Check permalinks are set to /%POSTNAME%/
- Ensure you have created all your membership pages, module pages and content pages.  You need to also ensure these are setup with the correct site structure.  (Please see membership pages video for more information on this)

Setup Your Login Page

Setup your login page for DAP.  You need to create a new page, call it something appropriate (login-page or login).  Use the "Members 1 DAP Login Page" template.  No need to set a parent page for this page.  Activate your header and in the page content add:

Save the page and your login page is ready.

Setup Your Error Page

- Create a page called "error-page"
- Leave the parent field (no parent)
- Set the template to "Members 1 DAP Error"
- In the page content enter something like this:

- You can also add a link to your sales letter if you want for people who dont own your product to purchase

Setup Your Logged out Page

- Create a page called "logged-out"
- Leave the parent field (no parent)
- Set the template to "Members 1 Non-Members"

- In the page content enter something like this:

You have been successfully logged out. If you would like to access the training again, please login below:

Code For Logout Button

To create a logout button in your menu, add a custom item to the menu (in the Appearance > Menus section) .  The logout URL will be the destination of your dap folder + logout.php e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/dap/logout.php
