Foreign Language & Accented Characters

OptimizePress uses a special font replacement system for some of the headlines in the templates included in the package. You can choose from a range of fonts which will be smoothly rendered to your page and look better than standard HTML headlines.

Because of this special font replacement system (called "cufon"), certain special characters required in non-english languages also have to be encoded into the character set in order to be used in the headlines.

Because of this, we have created a number of variations of the OptimizePress theme for use if you are building a site for a foreign language market. We currently have the following languages covered:

  • Spanish
  • German
  • French
  • Dutch
  • Danish
  • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Swedish
  • Italian
  • Cyrillic/Russian (note the cyrillic version does not include translated buttons)
For each of these foreign language versions, we have encoded the required characters for each character set.  Where possible we have also translated the optin buttons and call to action buttons in the theme so you can build squeeze pages and sales letters with buttons which are applicable to the relevant language (excluding russian).
If you need to build a site for one of these foreign language markets you can find these versions in the OptimizePress members area under the "View other OptimizePress Downloads" link - or click here (login required)Please notethat the translated theme versions do not include the internal interface being translated, so you will still need to be able to understand our english instructions and English interface in order to use these versions of OptimizePress
